Dear Save Oceanside Sand Team,
We greeted the New Year with some amazingly large surf as well as the announcement of the RE:BEACH jury unanimous vote for the International Coastal Management’s (ICM) “Living Speed Bumps” concept. This concept includes two small headlands to stabilize sand on the back beach, coupled with an offshore artificial reef aimed at slowing down the nearshore erosive forces.
