accounting department for Lennar Homes’ West Region, where he played a key role in managing large-scale residential projects. Expanding his expertise, Charlie transitioned to IT, where he served as an internal business consultant, bridging operations, accounting, and IT to improve business efficiency and communication. Seeking a more balanced lifestyle, he later managed the produce department at Stater Bros. Markets for 12 years before transitioning into semi-retirement.
A lifelong surfer, Charlie still enjoys catching waves. He’s married, 65 years old, and lives in Oceanside on the East Side near the beach.
Charlie is a seasoned professional with a diverse career spanning accounting, real estate development, IT, and retail management. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). After graduating, Charlie began his career at a public accounting firm specializing in real estate, which set the foundation for his transition into the development sector.
Charlie managed construction accounting departments for both commercial and residential developers, with a career highlight being his work on the iconic California Plaza, including the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA), on Bunker Hill in Los Angeles. He later led the construction
