SOS X Oceanside Businesses

As a long-time member of Save Oceanside Sand since the early days of 2019, I’m excited to be reaching out to you to let you know that our Oceanside community is coming together in more ways than ever in support of the SOS mission to restore our beaches and protect our coastal habitat.

Anyone who has lived in Oceanside for any length of time knows that our local business community holds us all together. They feed, nourish, and provide for us in innumerable ways, throughout the years, through β€œthick and thin.”

As we roll out new & exciting activities and events, we want to be considerate of your email inboxes, so we’ll be using our social media channels (private Facebook Group here and Instagram here) as well as our brand new website calendar here, to share what’s happening, specifically, ways you can support SOS while supporting our beloved local businesses.

Many of you, your friends, families, and colleagues, have likely participated in a Dine & Donate and Shop & Donate for your favorite charitable organizations.

Today, you’re among the first to know that we have some very generous and supportive locals donating various percentages of their proceeds to SOS when you DINE AND SHOP with them on specific dates and times.

Who is on deck and ready to take good care of your dining & shopping needs, while also generously donating proceeds to Save Oceanside Sand?

  • Reply to this email with the names and introductions to other local business owners we may contact to partner with in the coming months. Especially during the β€œoff season” when the holiday lull starts to take effect, we want to get creative with local entrepreneurs and large companies alike to boost sales, especially during the holidays.

Thanks to your ongoing support, we continue to grow in the ways we educate and influence our community at the City, State, and National level (remember that New York Times article?) while we continually move toward a sustainable solution for restoring Oceanside’s beaches.
