RE:BEACH is Oceanside's Coastal Resilience Design Competition, which aims to generate innovative solutions for the retention of sand along our beautiful coastline. October 17th marks the 2nd of the series of 3 workshops, where three competing landscape architect and engineering Design Teams, from across the world, are showcasing their designs after hearing your input at the 1st workshop. On Tuesday, you'll have the chance to see the refined coastal resilience designs proposed to restore and retain sand on Oceanside's coastline. Only 1 team and their winning pilot project design will be selected to move into the final engineering and permitting process at the completion of the competition (in January 2024), and moving on to become a shovel-ready solution for Oceanside’s beaches. So come out and provide your feedback. Your input will help the teams dial in their final concepts for the 3rd and final workshop happening December 12, 2023 (location TBD). RSVP at REBEACH.org.
